What a lovely spot to have lunch. We walked from Herne Bay round to Whitstable so were very ready for a rest and refuel. The guy behind the bar was so attentive, food was fresh & delicious and cold pints - what more could you want! Dog friendly too!

Came here for dinner with my family and sister's family. Service was fantastic, the guy looking after us (and the whole pub it seemed!) Was brilliant. Super friendly, knew his stuff and was great with the kids. Food was really yummy. It was actually nice to have a menu that didn't have loads on! A good simple menu that had good classics on, and done well. Great value for money too. We will definitely be back!

Managed to get a last minute booking Saturday evening over the Bank Holiday. Service was brilliant (very patient with kids taking an age to make a decision, also fully understood chip portion politics) The Lebanese loaded fries were AMAZING too. Thank you!

Lovely place for lunch. My only quarm was that I was served a bigger pot of mussels. It was very clean, staff were very friendly. Food was hot and delicious. The chef even made sausage beans and chips for my daughter which was not on the menu. Will for sure go again.

Best Sunday Roast in a long time! Visited this lovely pub with my family, was greeted with a very warm welcome and served delicious home cooked food. Great atmosphere and will definitely be returning.
